Water Temperature: 50F to 68F – The maximum temperature a Water Dragon will survive at is below 68° degree. Above 68° is at the outer edge of the temperature rage they can live at. The perfect is temperature is 68° and below. Low Temperature is better than a High Temperature. As you look on the Internet for Water Dragons – Axolotls care instructions you will see some web sites that state that it’s okay to for a Water Dragons – Axolotls to be at a maintained at a temperature of 68 degrees. Water Dragons cannot and should not be kept at 76° degree temperature. This temperature is too high and will stress out your Water Dragon and it will DIE. Water Dragons are NOT Tropical Fish; they are Cold Blooded Amphibians, they like a lower temperature like 50° degrees rather than being at 68° degrees. Always maintain your water temperature 68° degrees or below. It is better to keep your Water Dragons at a lower temperature, than at a high a temperature. 68F degrees and below is a perfect temperature.
